Kate

Kate has been growing up so much the past couple months. She is no longer a baby. She has found a new best friend...The cozy coupe. As long as she has this, she is happy. She gets so mad at Tayson and Will when they want to play with it...she just sits there and cries until they get sick of the crying and just give it back to her.

Since Kate is FINALLY walking, I decided she deserved a video post of her. She has been "able" to walk for awhile. She just never wanted to do it since she could get places faster by crawling. It is about time! (I couldn't get it to turn the right way, sorry!)

Snow in Houston?

So, it really did snow in Houston last Friday. When they said it was going to snow, I thought maybe a couple flurries but it really did snow...even big flakes. The kids weren't as excited as they normally would have been since they had just spent Thanksgiving in Utah with lots of snow, but it was still fun! These pictures are out of order but I gave up on trying!
Will and Tayson outside playing in the snow...it lasted about 3 minutes and they wanted their hot chocolate.
This is our backyard when it started. I actually thought this would be as much as we would get so I took a picture...but it kept on coming.

Our house covered in snow...probably will never happen again but it was so pretty while it lasted!
Will showing off his little snowball!

Thanksgiving in Utah

We were lucky enough to go to Utah for Thanksgiving and spend some time with both Grandparents at my parents cabin. It was cold but the kids loved playing outside. Between the 4 Grandparents, they were usually able to convince someone to go outside with them.

Will thought it was necessary to wear goggles.

It didn't take long for Kate to start getting into things.

Tayson did not like his hat and coat. It was a fight every time he wanted to go outside.

The kids loved driving the ATV. My dad has been telling them for 6 months that they can "drive" all his new "toys" . They held him to it!

Grandpa Ramage, Grandpa Richards, Scott, Will and Tayson

Scott gave Tayson the job of holding his pool stick. He took it very seriously.

Grandma Ramage and Will playing games.

Pictures in the "Tractor" (Snow Cat).

Back at Grandma and Grandpa Richards house. Kate was tired of hearing "no" by now and lost it!

My sister Marni and her husband Darren and my new nephew Caleb.
The boys finally got Grandpa to go outside and build a snowman.

We leave for Round 2 in a couple weeks! Should be fun!

November Pictures

Here are some catch-up pictures from last month. Things are always crazy around our house, so here is the proof.
I still love t have Will and Tayson match...Will thinks he is getting too old to match.
Will is a great big brother...Kate loves him!
One ponytail?

Tayson running to get out of the picture!
This is what the kids do while I am trying to "cook" dinner.

This was supposed to be the update to Will's eye incident. As you can see, he is fine. After 2 antibiotics, all is well!

Will's Eye

About 3 days ago, Will got a "bug bite" above his eye. Today, his eye was swollen shut. After a visit from the doctor, he has cellulitis and we are just hoping the swelling hasn't gone behind his eye. Anyway, I had to post a couple pictures.
This is the more recent picture, looking tons better.

We have been icing it all morning and Will got sick of holding the ice. This was Scott's answer to that little problem!
This is what I woke up to...so sad!

Halloween Time!

The last couple weeks have been crazy around here. It seems like we haven't stopped all month. I have to admit, I am glad Halloween is over. I felt like it went on forever. Here are some pics of the past couple days.
We are still trying to figure out something to do with Kate's hair, or lack of. If it isn't in pigtails, it is a very awful mullet. But I feel like if they are in pigtails, it looks like I am trying to do something with nothing. Anyway, here are some cute pictures....just don't mind the hair!
Kate, 15 months old.

Instead of dressing up with their costumes, Will and Tayson's preschool had a crazy hat parade and "concert". It ended up being very cute, except for the fact that Tayson stood by me...not up on the stage!

Tayson having a fit!
Scott has been working non-stop all week so he finally made it home one night in time to carve pumpkins. We had the pumpkins for about 4 days before Scott was able to get home and the boys were dying to do it.
Kate has become a big wrestler. She will come up to you and jump on you. Will loves to play with her now that she is bigger.

I promise they all love each other...we just have our moments. (Notice Will has Tayson in the head lock and Tayson has Kate.)
Grandma Richards was a trooper during Halloween because she didn't feel well but it didn't slow her down. She always does a "party" for the grand kids.

One of the traditions...eating a donut off a string without touching it.
Tayson didn't think it looked like that much fun! Bobbing for apples.

Finally time to dress up. Will was batman. Tayson was supposed to be Buzz Lightyear...but ended up wearing Spiderman. Kate was Tinkerbell!

Kate's first sucker!...(and many did follow!)
Waiting to go trick-or-treating.

Tayson and Carter were not too sure about this house. They both just stood there and stared at the door.

Will is FINALLY 5!!

I can't believe that Will is 5. It seems like he has been "almost" 5 for 6 months now (since a lot of his friends have already turned 5). Anyway, he decided he wanted a Batman party at the gymnastics place by our house. They have a coach take all the kids around and they get to run around and jump on things and swing on things. He loved it and they all had a blast!

He insisted on a Batman cake and I insisted on making it myself. Bad idea and I will now purchase cakes! Anyway, this was the result!
Will and Tayson waiting for their friends to arrive!
Friends finally come and the fun begins! Jumping on the trampoline.
Will and Johnny
Will trying to get out of the foam pit.
Tayson jumping into the foam pit.

BJ Morris being a kid.

They some how talked Scott into going through the tiny, black tunnel that ends in a slide. Then he managed to convince me, BJ, and Eden to do it also.

The whole crew!

Eating pizza!
Cake time!
Will was a good sport because he let Tayson sit with him while he was opening presents!
